The Glee Project Streaming Season 2 Episode 1 2x1

The Glee Project season 2 is bringing in a few new faces to serve as mentors for the next batch of contestants looking to snag a sweet guest spot on Glee Season 4. Bringing their expertise to the reality competition is Cory Monteith, Naya Rivers, and Season 1 co-winner Samuel Larsen. As was the case with the first season, each guest-mentor will appear in his or her own episode with a specific theme the contestants will be focused on.

The goal of Oxygen’s reality show, The Glee Project, is to discover a fresh face to add to the cast of Glee. The thing is, when creator Ryan Murphy and Co. came to the end of The Glee Project’s inaugural season of last year, they didn’t just pick one winner — they ended up choosing four of them!

The fact of the matter remains, though, that came Glee away from Season 1 with four new characters instead of the originally-advertised one. Now that The Glee Project is back for Season 2 on June 5, it seems like a fair question: Will the show continue with their multiple-winner approach this year, as well?

As Ryan Murphy has previously stated, most of the “Glee” cast will appear as mentors during Season 2 of “The Glee Project,” the Oxygen reality competition that rewards young triple-threats with multi-episode arcs on the hit FOX series. Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera have now joined Lea Michele in advising the contestants throughout Season 2.

Lea Michele will appear in the season 2 premiere focused on “Individuality,” while Monteith joins the hopefuls for the June 19 installment about “Vulnerability” and bullying. Rivera stops by during the fourth episode on June 26 to talk about “Sexuality.”

As previously announced, “Glee’s” leading lady Lea MIchele will mentor the contestants on The Glee Project Season 2 premiere of “The Glee Project.” The first episode focuses on “individuality,” according to HuffPost TV’s exclusive preview. “The real challenge is to be able to work as a group, yet still be able to hold their own as individual characters,” explained choreographer Zach Woodlee.

Season 2 of “The Glee Project” features 14 unique “Glee” hopefuls, including 24-year-old Ali, who is paralyzed from the chest down; biracial, Jewish and transgendered 21-year-old Tyler; and completely blind singer/songwriter Mario, who is also 24.

Are you ready for The Glee Project Season 2 Episode 1? With so many characters graduating with an unknown future on Glee, Ryan Murphy wants some new kids on the show. Hopefully he won’t get rid of the previous winners like Damian. Does it count as winning if all they let you do is sit on a chair in the back of a choir room?
