Looking for Eric, Pam walks in on Lafayette and Sookie mourning Tara. Pam doesn't really care, but Sookie and Layfette beg her to turn Tara. Pam, always my favorite responds "turn her? I don't even like her" Even the show ever does a spin-off, I hope it's a Pam spin-off. Pam and Sookie make a deal that Pam will turn Tara if Sookie agrees to a favor and help fix things between Eric and Pam.

Luna tries to convince him to tell them Alcide did it. But Sam says after all Alcide has done for him he can't, then one of Marcus's pact member shows up and takes Sam away after Sam lies and confesses to the murder of Marcus.
Reverend Steve gags up Jason - and glamours him into believing he asked to have his mouth gagged - and then tells him that he's a gay vampire American and in love with Jason. Jason rejects him after say this is "the kindness I love you I got but he doesn't bark that way." (The dog reference I guess related to the werepanther stuff?) Rev. Steve becomes angry and is going to force him to love him, but Jessica shows up declares Jason is hers and she's the queen. Then she tosses Steve out and Jason and her begin to kiss.
Eric and Bill work together and escape the authority's capture. They're about to try to run after the car explodes but the guy transporting them points a gun and asks who wants to die first. Then the girl with him says "you" and kills him. Eric says "Nora" then grabs her into a big embrace. Then it's revealed she's his sister. Ugh….
Sookie admits to Lafayette she chose to kill Debbie and it wasn't self-defense as they clean the blood.

There is an intense breakfast between Terry, Arlene, his army buddy Patrick and the kids. Patrick seems afraid of Terry, but for reasons we don't know yet, but bringing up the fire strikes accord in Patrick's head.
Sookie remembers some old times with Tara and her], and Layfette contemplates committing sucide.
Alcide shows up at Sookie's house and she's nervous about him discovering she killed Debbie. Alcide is there to tell Russell has escaped, but Sookie didn't know he was alive. Alcide asks Sookie to stay with him, and she's about to admit she killed Debbie, but Lafayette stops Sookie.
Jason makes an attempt to try to become friends with Hoyt again, but when Jason basically admits he's still having sex with Jessica, there conversation, or Jason being taunted by his ex-friends, is pretty much the end of the conversation.
Sam is being tortured by the pact for details on Marcus's body. They tell him they'll let Luna and Emma from harm if he tells them where he left the body.
Eric and Nora have sex as Bill waits outside. Their sex is interrupted by a called from Alcide that lets them know Russell has been released.
Jessica is partying with some college kids when Jason shows up and things get awkward with Jason being a cop and underage drinking. Oh yeah and Jessica flirting with a guy right infront of Jason and Jason taking a girl away in his car. Jealous starts from both sides. But more from Jason's side. Once in his car, Jason admits to the girl who he's trying to hookup with that he'd just going to use her and does the nice thing and just take her home.

So True Blood season 5 is off to a great start, worth the wait? I'm looking forward to see how half-brained Tara adjusts to her new life as a vampire. I'm also excited to see the fight between Rev. Steve and Jessica. Also, more of Terry's history is going to be interesting. So what are you looking forward to see most on True Blood season 5?
